HISTOIRE

BIO

Jako Lanterne is the fusion of the work of a sculptor-illustrator with that of a graphic designer-scenographer. These multidisciplinary artists have been teaming up for over 20 years. Together they create unique and tailor-made works intended mainly for the stage and screen.

Laurent Canniccioni

He has been passionate about puppets and cinema special effects since a very young age. He used his drawing skills in order to interpret his imagination, then later he employed sculpture as a new creative tool, learning various molding techniques in order to reproduce his works with various materials (plaster, silicone, resin, foam-latex, etc.). He is characterized by his sense of design, his imagination and  his attention to detail. He is passionate about experimenting with new materials as well as exploring any other new avenue such as 3-D modelling and printing which allows him to achieve his goal, personal expression through the visual domain, whether real or virtual.

Emily Bélanger

Using oil painting as a means of expression since her childhood, she first moved towards graphic design. She then immersed herself in the world of theatrical creation at The Quebec Conservatory of Dramatic Art. It was while working in collaboration with several young directors, through KINO, that she became interested in the camera frame as a tool for visual creation. Eager to share her knowledge, she is also trained in teaching at the University of Montreal. Her creations are a combination of manual and digital work, painting and pixels.  She is also proficient in project management and organization.
